Happy Valentines Day! Most people hate Valentines Day, but I do not know why! Most people don't even know the origin of Valentines Day! I didn't either until I looked it up, but it is very fascinating. St. Valentine was a priest. The king at the time banned all marriages so that more men would join the army. St. Valentine defied this law, and continued to marry couples. One day, the king found out and ordered his death. He wrote a note to his close friend, and signed it "from your Valentine." He died on the 14th of February. This is how Valentines Day originated. It does not matter if you don't have a boyfriend or a girlfriend! This holiday  is to celebrate love in general! You love your families don't you? Your friends? Your crush? Your pets? Why do you need a significant other to enjoy this holiday, when love is all around you! You aren't supposed to feel depressed, you are supposed to spread the joy and love! This is a holiday to be grateful for all that everyone you love does for you! So, next time you guys say you hate Valentines Day? Shut the heck up, and start loving! Love, peace, and happiness. And happy lurve day!
